Historical Municipal Archives

The Historical Municipal Archives were born in 1990 from the reorganization of the Nautical Municipal Museum of el Masnou Sponsorship. Since then, several works were carried out in order to catalogue the whole municipal documentacion and the one related to the naval world.

In July 1998, an expert in the archives and museum management started working so that the Historical Municipal Archives and the Nautical Municipal Museum could be opened.

Finally, the Archives were moved to Sant Francesc d'Assis St in 1999 and both the historical documents and the administrative files generated in the Town Hall were unified.
